Ashley Cheang Photography was founded in 2009.

Back then, Ashley was just a 17-year-old youth volunteer, who fell in love with photography while serving the community.

 

It all began with a small pocket camera, which eventually evolved to be what is now her pride and joy; Fujifilm system. 

Ashley was approached to photograph a wedding, and that was when she discovered the value photographs could bring

to people; so much happiness lay in captured memories. With photographs, moments will never be lost.

 

Her photography skills, passion and courage have transformed her to be who she is today.

She has shot numerous professional outdoor events, weddings and family portraits, capturing the life of any event.

 

She firmly believes that each story and photo is very personal and significant. 

Witty and fun-loving, Ashley's soulful demeanour ties deeply into the core of her photography. Her deep-rooted appreciation for any opportunity she has to capture precious moments for people, sits in this belief she holds;

On a personal note, black and white photography is something I particularly enjoy,

because of its classic yet loud vibe. It drowns away all that’s irrelevant, bringing focus to what matters more;

emotions, that hold the ability to facilitate connections in strong, meaningful ways.
